What a very pleasant experience. We stopped in for a drink and an early appetizer before hitting the strip. From the very beginning it was a great experience. The ambiance there is like sitting at an outdoor table next to a waterfall yet we are inside Ceasars with no windows. The inside completely transports you to feeling like you're outside. Great people watching as the bustle of people in the promenade walk by. Chad our waiter was fantastic. He was personable and helped guide us throught the expansive menus of FRESH seafood to a very good app. We had the grilled halibut tail. It was exactly as he described, a perfect sharable plate for two. You fork off the meat and create a taco using fresh made corn tortillas. The meat was flavorful and tender. The accoutrements elevated the taco. We also had a sampler plate of fresh oysters on the half shell. Their freshest shaved horseradish was delicate and not too strong, the champagne mignonette had a perfect level of brightness, Our waiter chad had great support from other staff (anthony?). They would check in with perfect timing (clearly paying attention to our water glasses, cocktails, empty plates etc). Water Grill vegas has their A-game. Everything is on point. The atmosphere, the service, the food. Kudos to them. 5-stars. So much so, we will be trying their another WG in Bellevue soon. Thanks Chad and all! Well...of all of the dozens of fantastic restaurants in vegas, we had to come back the next evening for a full dining experience. We were not disappointed. It started with the hostess greeting us with a perfect yet natural smile. I had to compliment her. It came across as quite genuine. A warm sincere smile goes a long way to set the tone. :-) We had Athena as our primary server that evening and she was equally perfect. Her greek flare was fun! Of course Chad noticed we were back and stopped by to see how our vacation is going and shared and few things we did the night before. Athena's entree suggestions for the evening were on point as well. We had the black cod in a miso broth and a deconstructed shrimp Louie. The shrimp were probably U12s in size. Yes...huge! And I forget how many but probably at least six were tender to perfection. The cod was delicately cooked in a light miso broth on a small assembly of thin wheat soba noodles. The bread they bring to the table was perfect to soak up the miso broth (became my dessert). In fact I would suggest getting at least one entree that comes in a broth or sauce so you can dip the bread in it. Since we were just there last night, we really got the full treatment. Staff from last night stopped to chat, the GM stopped by to check on us...everyone felt completely sincere...they truly enjoy their work and the people and it shows. Thx WG. See you in Bellevue!
My best friend and I wanted great seafood with a fun view & Water Grill exceeded our expectations. Our server Carsten was fantastic- super attentive & made great recommendations. Noticed my love for spicy food and even went out of his way to bring over a delicious tasting sauce for my shrimp. Just perfect. Can't wait to return.
Arrived and we were immediately sat and greeted by our waiter. Drinks were out immediately after we ordered and food ordered once those hit. The oyster sampler was fresh and amazing, surf and turf melted in my mouth. Will definitely be coming back here in the near future
We chose Water Grill as a pre 21st birthday dinner spot and were truly happy we did! As luck would have it, José M. was our server. The restaurant itself has an old world feel & charm with cherrywood panels, red leather banquets and nautical accents. I ordered a Hendrik's martini with a twist and we went about studying the menu. We landed on 1/2 dozen Kumamoto & 1/2 dozen Bay Water Sweet along with a bowl of chowder and the toro toro tartare. After a brief conversation together José brought all our orders together (as requested.) the oysters were served with cocktail, mignonette & habanero lime relish (my new favorite). The chowder had excellent flavor and texture. The tartare, served with warm sushi rice, was also exceptional. While my son was in the restroom, José informed me that he planned to bring a "shareable" dessert in recognition of his birthday. The dessert with candle was scrumptious and greatly appreciated! All in all we had a terrific visit to Water Grill for the food but largely due to Jose's attentiveness & smiling demeanor. A real professional with warmth. We look forward to another visit soon!
Had an amazing time at lunch here. We were seated by the view of the Fountain of the Gods at Caesar's, and ordered the whole king crab which came with 2 appetizers, and the recommended salmon sushi roll. The server told us Water Grill is the only restaurant in the area with live seafood and showed us the tanks where the crabs were kept. We chose the king crab for $90/lb, and chose the smallest crab which was 7.25 lb. The manager even came to greet us and confirm our order, and they brought the crab to us before cooking to take pictures with! Despite being nervous we couldn't finish the whole crab, it came out so fresh and delicious we were able to finish it all. Appetizers of broccolini and chinese sausage, and squash with quinoa was surprisingly delicious as well. Ate a few pieces of sushi which was delicious with a surprising fruity touch, but had to take most of it home. Overall loved our time at this restaurant, the view and ambiance was great, servers very attentive, and most importantly the seafood was so fresh and memorable! Would love to come back to try their oysters and lobster dishes in the future.
This was a Valentine's four course menu at Water Grill, in Forum at Caesars Palace. The ambience was dark and rustic, though they did make a balloon arch entrance and had a photo booth upstairs ( for the young'uns of which I am not). I started with the Awakening, which was Roku gin, elderflower, peppercorn and citrus. They presented us with hot and crisp sourdough with salted butter. The starter I picked the chilled wild shrimp (6 large shrimp!), then a Caesar salad (with anchovy), surf and turf, and a chocolate espresso ganache cake. The food was well prepared, abundant portions, very good tasting. Service was well executed. Sorry to say that we could barely finish our meals, of course everything was delicious but we just.ate.too.much.food.
Great seafood and lobster rolls. The raw bar is good too and we enjoy the scallops and jumbo shrimp. The first time we went our server was great but on this last visit we had a guy who kept trying to upsell us. Weird and felt like a used car salesman. The space is comfortable and nicely decorated. I've also been here for work meetings and everyone in my group enjoys the food.
I always love Water Grill - and love it even more when in Vegas for a work meeting and have been stuck with conference food all week! Service was fantastic- we were seared immediately and began with some cocktails - theirs are always fantastic. They have some of the best oysters anywhere with their fantastic habanero mignonette! Started there along with some scallops then enjoyed their poke as my main course which was also fresh and delicious. My colleague got their sea bass and shrimp Louis salad - that was huge so we ended up sharing it and still had plenty left! Enjoyed a time with fantastic service, great location and superb food and drinks!
In Caesars Palace forum shops. Top notch food. Excellent taste, and quality fresh seafood. The oysters I had were so good. Complimentary bread was delicious and addicting. The octopus appetizer was fresh and loved the flavors combined. My sea bass was on point. Melt in mouth with excellent flavor. Service was superb and our waitress was attentive. Great ambience and vibe. I highly recommend this place!
My friend and I were craving some drinks in that awkward period between lunch and dinner, so we ended up at Water Grill. Water Grill is located in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas and is known for their seafood (first catch of the season with variety of fish, lobster, crabs, oysters, and shellfish). We stopped by at the bar for some cocktails and tried the following: - A Night in Osaka (Suntory Toki Whisky, Amaro Nonino, Amontillado Sherry, Maple Syrup, & Grapefruit Bitters) - Mescalero (Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, 100% Blue Agave Silver Tequila, Passion Fruit, & Pineapple) Cocktails were delicious. Service was friendly at the bar. Ambiance is Upscale Classy. ENJOY!!
